À propos de ce contenu audio
In this heartwarming and insightful conversation, Mark R. Worden takes us on a journey through faith, calling, and the unexpected ways God weaves lives together. Mark shares how he and his wife, Connie, first connected through books—yes, books! What began as a simple exchange of Christian titles in an online author group became a friendship… and then a marriage built on purpose, ministry, and a shared love for storytelling.
We also explore Mark’s transition from missionary life to becoming an author, his powerful devotional HE IS! Knowing God through Fifty Scriptural Meditations, and how God continues to lead him and Connie as they serve through their writing ministry. Their story is not just beautiful—it is a reminder that obedience, faith, and creativity can open doors to blessings we never saw coming.
If you're a lover of Christian books, faith stories, or God-ordained connections, this is one episode you’ll absolutely treasure.

About the Author — Mark R. Worden
Mark R. Worden concluded in the 3rd grade that God existed when his teacher introduced him to infinity numbers—“You can count forward and backwards forever and ever!” Although he later wrestled with submitting to God, his story of salvation is shared in the preface of his award-winning devotional theology book, HE IS! Knowing God through Fifty Scriptural Meditations.
Mark gladly provides a free PDF of his book to anyone who asks. In fact, it was through offering this devotional in a Facebook Christian author group in 2023 that he met his wife, Connie Cook Worden. They began reading each other’s books, developed a friendship, and eventually married—a story they are currently writing into its own book.
Mark came to faith in 1978 and has served in various ministries and business endeavors throughout his life. He is currently a seasonal fly-fishing guide while full-time RVing in Montana with Connie, and they are preparing to move back to her hometown in BC to continue ministry and writing.
