Good morning. Maryland. I'm Aaron Jolly. If you're driving right now, slow down. A Dense Fog Advisory blankets central Maryland until 10 A.M., cutting visibility to a quarter mile or less. That morning commute? It's a crawl through soup. In the next 24 hours. The fog burns off by late morning as temperatures push into the 50s. Baltimore Metro hits 56 degrees. Central Maryland reaches 55. Western Maryland climbs to 60 — the warmest spot in the state. Drizzle and scattered showers tag along through the morning, nothing heavy, just enough to keep the wipers busy. Tonight, the fog comes back. And brings reinforcements. Showers and thunderstorms roll through between 7 P.M. and midnight. Western Maryland could pick up half an inch or more. Lows settle at 44 in Baltimore, 42 in Central Maryland. And 46 out west. Friday stays gray with patchy morning fog and highs in the low 50s. Pretty forgettable. But buckle up, because the weekend flips the script. Saturday jumps to the mid-60s. Sunday and Monday push into the upper 60s with sunshine breaking through. By Tuesday and Wednesday, we're talking low to mid-70s. That's 42 degrees to 42 degrees above normal for early March. Your tulips are going to get ideas. Spring is knocking hard. The equinox is just two weeks out. And we're gaining over two minutes of daylight each day. Tonight's full moon will be glowing through all that fog and mist — if you can see it. If this warmup has you thinking about outdoor plans, now's the time to start plotting. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow.
