  • Grounded Decisions: How to Stop Making Fear-Based Choices in Business and Life
    Apr 7 2026

In this episode, I’m pulling back the curtain a little bit and talking about something that has completely changed the way I run my business and make decisions in my life.

For a long time, I made decisions quickly. Knee-jerk decisions. Exciting decisions. Fear-based decisions. Other-people-told-me-to decisions. And looking back, some of them worked… and some of them absolutely did not.

What I’ve learned over the last few years is this:

The worst decisions I’ve ever made came from anxiety, pressure, fear, or urgency.

The best decisions I’ve ever made came from a place of groundedness and inner knowing.

So in this episode, we’re talking about:

    • Why you should not make decisions from anxiety
    • How to tell the difference between fear and alignment
    • The importance of grounding yourself before making big business decisions
    • Why other people’s advice isn’t always the right advice for you
    • Learning discernment in business and life
    • Why being a visionary/idea person can be a gift and a challenge
    • Practical ways to ground yourself before making decisions
    • How to start trusting your own inner voice again

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned as a business owner is this:

Just because something is a good idea doesn’t mean it’s a good idea for you.

And just because someone else did it and it worked for them does not mean it is meant to be your path.

Your life, your business, your capacity, your finances, your family, your goals — all of that matters when you are making decisions. Which is why learning to sit with decisions, get grounded, and develop discernment is one of the most important skills you can build as a business owner.

If you take anything from this episode, let it be this:

Do not make decisions when you feel anxious, pressured, desperate, or fearful.

Make decisions when you feel grounded, solid, and clear.

That one change alone can change the entire trajectory of your business and your life.

  • I Stepped Away From My Business For Awhile, And Here’s What Actually Happened
    Mar 24 2026

This episode is a very real, very honest conversation about burnout, business ownership, and something we don’t talk about enough as entrepreneurs — what happens when the person who built the business… needs to step away from it.

A couple years ago, I hit a level of burnout I didn’t even recognize at the time. From team issues, financial stress, big business decisions, and the pressure that comes with being the one responsible for everything — it all caught up with me.

So I did something that felt completely impossible at the time:

I stepped away from the day-to-day of my business.

But here’s the part that most people don’t expect…

I didn’t burn it all down.

    I didn’t sell it.

    I didn’t shut it down.

I built it in a way that it could keep running without me — and that decision changed everything.

In this episode, I’m sharing what that season looked like, what I learned, and what business owners need to understand if they want to build a business that is actually sustainable long term.

In this episode, we talk about:
    • The burnout that business owners don’t see coming until it’s too late
    • The highs and lows of entrepreneurship (and why both are normal)
    • The leadership lessons I had to learn the hard way
    • How I was able to step away while my business kept running
    • The role pricing and profitability play in business sustainability
    • Why most business owners think their only options are to sell or shut down — and why that’s not true
    • Building a team that can make decisions without you
    • Creating a business that can grow without you doing everything
    • The difference between being the operator vs. the CEO

The biggest lesson from this season:

You shouldn’t be building a business that only survives if you are working 24/7.

You should be building a business that can function, grow, and succeed without you carrying the entire thing on your back.

    Because that’s not just a successful business — that’s a sustainable one.

  • The Power of an Intentional Pause: How to Step Back So You Can Move Forward
    Jul 23 2025

Ever feel like life (or your business) is forcing you to slow down—whether you like it or not? In this refreshing and relatable episode, I’m sharing how embracing an intentional pause can actually make you more resilient, creative, and profitable in the long run.

I pull back the curtain on:

    • The mindset shift it takes to choose to slow down—before burnout chooses for you
    • How to prep your finances, your team, and your clients for a season of rest
    • What it really looked like for me to pause this summer, honor my family, and refill my own cup
    • How I protect my energy (and revenue) during slow seasons—without spiraling into scarcity
    • My behind-the-scenes strategy for easing back in with fresh energy, warm leads, and aligned offers
    • How to use intentional “off” seasons as a powerful momentum-builder for your next growth phase

This is your permission slip to rest, reset, and remember: your worth is not tied to your output.

    💡 Key Takeaways
    • Pausing is a sign of wisdom, not weakness.
    • Your business should support your life—not the other way around.
    • Prepare for slow seasons with savings, flexible team structures, and creative planning.
    • Use pauses to reconnect with what actually lights you up—then return with intentional momentum.
    • Easing back in is just as important as stepping away.
