    Feb 19 2026

Special "Business Revenue Leak Checklist" offer free at http://www.mrse.co/leak.

John Libretti, an Air Force veteran and leadership coach, talks to host Michi Lantz and shares why new managers struggle, why “checkbox training” fails, and how founders can turn high performers into real leaders. Plus: the habit cycle that builds discipline without burnout.

    Guest Bio:

John Libretti is an Air Force Veteran and founder of Spearhead Leadership. John spent nearly 15 years in the Active-Duty Air Force as an intelligence officer, where he led teams from 2-100 military professionals in high-stress and deployed combat environments. He also worked for some of the military’s highest caliber leaders where he gained invaluable experience and adopted principles on a leadership framework that he immediately incorporated into his own life.

Before joining the military, John worked with managers and coaches on various athletics teams to strengthen their organizations’ communication strategy, team motivation, and elevate purpose for athletes. He helped guide teams to multiple championships and mentored high performing athletes on their way to achieving national rankings.

After leaving the Active-Duty military, John wanted to find a way to continue helping individuals not only learn and grow in their careers, but rise to success in all areas of their lives including their emotional intelligence, self-awareness, internal motivation, and effective communication in their personal and professional relationships. He decided to create Spearhead Leadership, dedicated to teaching the military-derived leadership framework he has implemented in his own life and has since passed on to dozens of corporate and business professionals across the span of the last two decades.

While he mainly works currently with Tech Founders and CEOs to train their managers and turn them into skilled leaders, John’s vision for Spearhead Leadership is to show people in any industry they can achieve success in all areas by becoming better leaders at a foundational level.
