Welcome to the first episode of 2026! For this episode we had Deputy Chief Rockett and Deputy Chief Montgomery on to talk about some of the partnerships and programs that the Longview Police Department has. All of the programs and different partnerships we talk about work together to help us better serve our community! Happy New Year!

In this episode, we talk with Officer Easley about the Blue Santa Project and how our "Shop with a Cop" event provides Christmas for kids in the community whose families need assistance. National Night Out is just around the corner on Tuesday, October 7! We have Sgt. DelConte on to talk about why you should host a party. The theme this year is Picture a Safer Community, so get out, meet your neighbors and first responders and let's all come together to Picture a Safer Longview. Mayor Kristen Ishihara sat down for a fun interview with us! We hit on a little bit of everything in this episode, so grab some popcorn and listen to hear about what's going on in Longview and the different ways you can get involved. We had Sgt. Allison on to talk about the Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training and how our officers are better equipped to protect the citizens of Longview after going through the course.
