Afeni Shakur: Evolution of a Revolutionary - Episode 2/2

It's Black History Month in the UK!

I decided to launch my podcast discussing the book Afeni Shakur: Evolution of Revolutionary.

It explores her life, in her own words, from growing up in the South experiencing Jim Crow laws and KKK terrorism, to her life after the passing of her legendary Hip-Hop son, Tupac Shakur.

Part 1 and 2 will look closely at her experiences within the revolutionary movement, The Black Panther Party, covering topics from racism, sexism, queer relationships, protecting the community and fighting against those who threaten it.
