In this episode I discuss the Dr. William Husel verdict. Dr. Husel was acquitted of 14 bogus murder charges while a nurse in Tennessee was charged and convicted for making a mistake. Prosecutors, like Judges, are not your friends when their personal interests trump basic humanity. Pathetic conduct for personal gain. Let’s hold them accountable.

Today we discuss the pathetic lack of legal ethics in our Nations highest Court and in the Ohio Supreme Court. As a member of the Ohio State Bar Association’s Ethics Committee for over 25 years, I feel I have the authority to opine on this issue and to ask how we as lawyers should conduct ourselves when Justices of the US and Ohio Supreme Court cannot police themselves. In this episode we bring to your attention the lack of professional integrity at the highest level.

With a season 2 preview teasing stories like Matt Moore, who lost his freedom, his home, and his reputation after being falsely accused of staging his wife’s suicide. How do we hold these prosecutors accountable for jailing an innocent man for 15 months while they make up theories in an attempt to secure a conviction. How do we hold the Judge accountable when the case should have never been given to the jury at the end of presentation of the evidence. We will discuss the continuing problems with lawyers taking advantage of clients and the system in all types of litigation, we will discuss prosecutors who couldn’t defend a speeding case in real life, we will discuss real time Judge incompetence but most importantly we will discuss how all of you get involved to help me repair a broken system.

But far less importantly, we are going to talk about me, growing up in a family of 8, and the first person in the entire family tree to attend college. How lucky I am to have this opportunity and career and how we got here.
