I'm a late-blooming gay Mormon, divorced single mom raising five kids on my own. At the five my oldest nearly died from an immune system disorder that put her into heart failure. At the age of six, my son was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Throughout it all, I've been serving in the Navy and that toll finally broke my marriage.
