Good evening. Kentucky. I'm Aaron Jolly. Right now we're sitting at 59 degrees. That's about 50 degrees above where we should be. And it gets warmer from here. In the next 24 hours. North Central Kentucky stays in the thick of it tonight. Showers are likely after 9 P.M., then thunderstorms roll through toward dawn. Low of 56 degrees. Tomorrow climbs to 70 with more storms — some could be strong with gusty winds or hail. Central Kentucky sees a similar story. Low tonight near 56. High tomorrow 69 degrees. Storm chances peak mid-morning through early afternoon. Down in South Central Kentucky, you're on the warmer side of that front. Low tonight 59. Tomorrow you touch 77 degrees — that's nearly 50 degrees above normal. Storm chances stay lower, around 30 percent. Eastern Kentucky, you're waking up to 55 degrees tonight. Tomorrow brings partly sunny skies and a high near 74. Just a slight chance of showers. The five-day outlook reads like a spring fever dream. Thursday brings more storms and highs in the 70s. Friday? We're talking near-record warmth — upper 70s to low 80s across parts of the state. Saturday a strong cold front sweeps through with widespread storms, some potentially severe. Then we cool back into the 60s Sunday. One more thing — look up tonight. Full moon. The last one before spring equinox arrives in about two weeks. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow.
