As of Friday, April 17, the official spring 2026 football practice schedule has concluded. The team digs into everything learned from the sessions, ranging from the current state of the roster (with 24 players currently injured) to the mindset of head coach Jim Mora. Following a football rundown, the crew speculates on what the men’s basketball starting five could look like next season and breaks down a 23-7 loss in the second match of the women’s volleyball orange out.

The KCSU sports team covers the Ram Spring Spotlight football game that took place this past Saturday, April 11. The event provided plenty of insight into what could be to come in next year’s football season, especially with new players like K’saan Farrar getting their most public representation on CSU football thus far. With the NCAA transfer portal just days from wrapping up, CSU’s basketball teams are nearly set for the upcoming season with some major roster updates. These moves give Ramblers a better idea than ever of how next year will look in the sport, as well as a chance to break down some of the most impactful new and departing players.

Ramblers 04/06/2026: Happy DJ-Athon! In honor of CSU’s bi-weekly fundraiser, the KCSU sports team dedicates a good bit of their show to calls for donations, which can be made at kcsufm.com/donate.

In regular sports programming, the basketball transfer portal is in full force, with CSU both keeping and losing key players as well as gaining new players including Amondo Miller of CU and Luke Howery. On the other side of the spectrum, star players including Brooke Carlson, who just hit a career-high 26 points in March Madness, are not planning on returning next year. To close things off, the team covers volleyball, coach rearrangements, and the NCAA national championship, which took place as the show aired.

Ramblers 03/30/26: The KCSU Sports team speculates on what is to come for CSU men’s basketball and who is next in line for the Rams. With veteran transfers, including Carey Booth, hitting their final college years and Augustinas Kiudulas entering the transfer portal, it is uncertain if CSU will have a key star player in the same way the program has over the past few years. Ramblers 03/25/26: There is much to touch on in the world of CSU basketball as both seasons come to an end. CSU women’s basketball picked up its first conference tournament championship since 2016, inserting the Rams into the NCAA Tournament as a No. 12 seed. KCSU Assistant Sports Director Devin Imsirpasic reports on traveling to Norman, Oklahoma, to cover CSU’s hard-fought battle against Michigan State in the first round. Lucas Williams then joins the show to discuss the men’s basketball team's upsetting loss against SDSU during the Mountain West tournament. After touching on both teams' final games, the Ramblers crew looks back at the highlights of the basketball season and predicts what could be to come next year.

Following their chat with Lanier, Adam Gross and Devin Imsirpasic are joined by Lucas Williams to recap men’s basketball’s loss against Boise State on Saturday, March 7. They speculate how the season will wrap up with the Mountain West tournament beginning March 11, before closing with an update on women’s basketball, as the team continues their win streak in the midst of their own tournament.

Ramblers 03/02/2026: KCSU Sports Directors Adam Gross and Devin Imsirpaisic are joined by Lucas Williams to chat with special guest Kapri Bibbs, an NFL veteran and former running back for CSU. Bibbs set the single-season rushing record and 31 touchdowns during the 2014 season before moving on to a professional football career. Bibbs joined the KCSU studio to discuss his experience playing in both college and professional football, providing insider information about his storied career, particularly regarding the business side of his experience as an undrafted NFL player. Bibbs now releases music under the name Just Kapri and is pursuing a career in film.
