    • Not Going Back: Why Obedience is My Only Option
      Aug 3 2025

This episode is raw. It's personal. And honestly, it's one of the hardest I've ever recorded.

After 30 days of pouring out my heart through the Made 4 More series, God wrecked me - in the best way possible. In this final episode, I’m sharing what He revealed to me about obedience, about surrender, and about why I can’t afford to go back.

It’s framed around Philippians 3:13–14, where Paul reminds us to forget what’s behind and press forward. That’s exactly what I’m doing...pressing forward. Because when you’ve seen too much, when you’ve grown too much, and when God has called you to more, retreat is no longer an option.

If you’ve ever wrestled with obedience, if you’ve ever questioned your calling, or if you're standing at the edge of “Do I keep going?” this episode is for you.

      Highlights:

      • What God revealed to me through this 30-day journey
      • Why I almost didn’t release this episode
      • How obedience is stretching me in new, uncomfortable ways
      • The reminder that calling requires commitment—even when it's hard
      • A heartfelt invitation to keep pressing forward with me

Listen now, share with a friend who needs encouragement, and remind yourself: you were made for more...there’s no turning back now.

    • Anchored: What's Really Holding You?
      Jul 26 2025

In this week’s episode of The Joy for the Journey Podcast, I’m pulling back the curtain on what it really means to be anchored. Not just still. Not just safe. But steady...even in seasons of uncertainty.

I’ll share a personal story about how my old website crashing became a divine reset and how it revealed just how tightly I was holding onto a version of Speaking of Joye that God had outgrown. We'll unpack what it looks like to release anchors that no longer serve us — fear, control, comfort — and instead cling to the only foundation that never shifts.

If you’ve ever felt stuck, unsure if it's God or just you avoiding the next step, this one's for you.

      In this episode, we cover:

      • The true purpose of an anchor
      • When God removes what you won’t let go
      • The difference between being paused and being protected
      • How to know if what’s holding you is helping you
      • An honest invitation to build on the Solid Rock

Listen in and let’s check what we’re really tied to.

    • Trusting the Process: When Letting Go Feels Risky
      Jul 25 2025

What if the thing holding you back isn’t a lack of faith—but the fear of what trusting God might cost you?

In this episode, I’m sharing something deeply personal: how hard it’s been to let go of control and truly trust God with what I can't see. I talk about:

      • The fear of surrender when God’s path feels risky
      • My personal struggle with letting others lead — and how that shows up in my relationship with God
      • The first time I publicly said Speaking of Joye is a global ministry (and why that felt scary)
      • Why trusting God doesn’t mean having it all figured out
      • How I’m choosing to buckle up, take my hands off the wheel, and be the passenger

If you’ve been tip-toeing your way through purpose, this episode is your reminder that you don’t have to control the ride to trust the destination.
