Episode 9 of Jett Road Studios Presents is the pilot for Lady Killers, a scripted comedy series created and written by Kristine Kimmel. The show follows the misadventures of M.J. (Kristine Kimmel) and Annie (Julie Brister), cohosts of the true crime podcast Lady Killers. After a challenging (and humbling) period of working in the TV business, M.J. is now back at home in the Midwest, making a podcast out of her mother's (Pam Murphy) laundry room. The recording session is interrupted when M.J.'s husband Bill (Joel Spence) loses part of his thumb, and has to go to the hospital, where he makes a shocking discovery. Kimberly Clark rounds out the excellent cast as Kara, M.J. and Annie's manager. Directed by Jessie Gaskell. Lady Killers theme song by Brynna Campbell.
