This has always been a controversial topic, to say the least. It seems like the general public is divided on the topic - you're either for it, or against it.

What do I think? Well, you're gonna have to listen to the podcast.

The reality is, it boils down to what it is that you want to do. Some of us won't pick up the camera when an animal is being killed. Some of us will take the photos, and not share them. Then, you can guys like me who would not only take the photos but also share them far and wide.

This is a big decision. If you are on a tight budget you should give a lot of thought to this before jumping in. Often we are inclined to get the newest and latest camera body when in fact, the option that will bring about the biggest difference in the quality of your work, is an upgraded lens.
