À propos de ce contenu audio

The Inspiration Inc. podcast, Is a space that I have created for myself to express some of the interesting concepts and ideas that I come across in life through the books I read, videos/movies/documentaries that I watch, conversations that I have with people and my own personal experiences.

I strive to become the greatest version of myself that I can be and want to inspire others to do the same. I want to use this podcast as a medium through which I can connect with other like-minded people and eventually build a community that is inspired to make the world a better place!

I invite you to join me on this journey of self-awareness, growth and positive impact!Copyright Shahryar Khan

    • Episode 7 - The path to "Winning"
      Jun 27 2022
In this episode I talk about concept on the idea of winning mentioned by Tim Grover in the book "W1nning". The book is written with 13 principles that, where each principle is the basis of each chapter. There is one principle in particular that strongly resonated with me and which also seems to be one of the most controversial ones in the book.

Tim says "Winning is not a marathon, it's a sprint with no finish line"

      Would you agree?

My professional soccer dreams were cut-short and I felt like I had gained nothing from all the years of hard and effort towards playing professional someday.

Over time I started to learn that I gained so much more than I thought I did, from the commitment and effort I had put in for all those years...

      May 16 2022
On April 7th 2021 I got hit with Covid, the next two weeks turned out to be some of the most challenging weeks of my life.

My final exams for my last year of university were only a week away, I was struggling financially and was the only person that could take care of my dad (also very sick with covid).

It felt like I had all the pressure in the world on me but I quickly learned that some things were just out of my control.

I realised that I should only focus on what I could control...
