Over the past few years, I have watched communities form with energy and passion, only to struggle quietly with confusion about direction, sustainability, and value.
This is Episode 1 of Inside Community. And I wanted to start by sharing what I have been noticing.
I have seen builders pour everything into their communities, time, energy, care, while most of that work remains invisible. I have seen members join with hope but without clarity on how to contribute. I have seen companies want to support communities but struggle to understand what they're actually supporting.
The gap isn't bad intent. It's misalignment. A lack of shared language.
In this episode, I talk about why communities struggle, what builders carry that often goes unseen, and why we don't need more communities, we need more understanding about them.
This podcast exists as a slower space. A place to explore how communities are really built, why they drift, and how ecosystems emerge when we shift from building to holding.
If you are building something quietly, I hope this resonates.
