• God has rescued you and given you a new identity in His kingdom.

Darkness is simply living without this knowledge, and understanding who God is leads to understanding who we are. Bonhoeffer’s poem “Who Am I?” affirms that, no matter our inner questions, our identity is secure in God.

Ultimately, we strive for sanctified speech, asking for a guard over our mouths so that we only speak what builds up and benefits those who listen.
