  • You Don't Have To Do It Alone
    Mar 9 2026

In this episode, I open up a shame-free conversation about loneliness—the kind you can feel even in a crowd—and why it isn’t a character flaw or proof you’re failing. We look at loneliness as a signal that you were made for connection and remember a core truth: you are not abandoned. I share two anchors from Scripture—Psalm 34:18 and Deuteronomy 31:6—and how God often meets us through ordinary people and small, steady moments of presence.

Then, I offer one practical assignment to help break the loneliness loop this week: turn on one light. Choose just one of three options—the Text Light (send a brief check-in to one person), the Place Light (show up one time where decent people gather), or the Small Ask Light (ask for one simple thing like prayer). Do it within seven days, write down, “I turned on a light this week,” and let that small step begin to change the room you’re in. We close with a reminder: the goal isn’t popularity—it’s to stop suffering alone, keep your step small and real, and keep building Hope From The Ground Up.

  • Start Smaller Thank You Think
    Mar 2 2026

In this episode, I invite you to trade perfectionism for a faithful first step. We unpack how fear disguises itself as responsibility—demanding a full plan, flawless execution, and certainty—when what God often gives is a lamp for the next step, not a floodlight for the whole road. Drawing from Psalm 119:105 and Proverbs 3:5–6, I share how learning to trust and move with limited light can break the paralysis of “what ifs” and all-or-nothing thinking.

I introduce the Two-Minute Start: a simple framework for beginning with a small, visible, repeatable action—whether in health, money, purpose, or relationships. You’ll hear practical examples and a weekly challenge to name one 10-minute step and do it the same day, then affirm, “I kept my word to myself today.” We close with a brief prayer for light and courage, and an open invitation for anyone curious about faith to take an honest next step. Next time, we’ll talk about loneliness and how to reconnect without reinventing yourself overnight.
