EN - Abderraouf Ouertani, artist and researcher, opted for a muwashah (a form of sung poetry) entitled Ya la qawmi dhayaouni (“Who are these people who have confused me?”). It was performed in Cairo in 1932 by Mohamed Ghanim’s Maluf ensemble from Tunisia. Armed only with his lute and his voice, Abderraouf patiently and skillfully does everything he can to bring out the nuances of the versions of a song that he learned at school and which inspired one of his compositions. We met on 4 April 2024, in Paris.

FR - Abderraouf Ouertani, artiste et chercheur, a choisi une muwashah (une forme de poésie chantée) intitulée Ya la qawmi dhayaouni (« Qui sont ces gens qui m’ont troublé ? »). Elle a été interprétée au Caire en 1932 par l’ensemble Maluf de Mohamed Ghanim, originaire de Tunisie. Armé uniquement de son luth et de sa voix, Abderraouf s’efforce avec patience et talent de faire ressortir les nuances des versions d’une chanson qu’il a apprise à l’école et qui a inspiré l’une de ses compositions. AR - اختار عبد الرؤوف ورتاني، الفنان والباحث، موشح بعنوان يا لا قومي ضايعوني وقد أداها في القاهرة عام 1932 فرقة «ملوف» التونسية بقيادة محمد غانم. مسلحاً فقط بعوده وصوته، يبذل عبد الرؤوف كل ما في وسعه، بصبر ومهارة، لإبراز الفروق الدقيقة بين نسخ الأغنية التي تعلمها في المدرسة والتي ألهمت إحدى مؤلفاته. التقينا في 4 أبريل 2024، في باريس.

TR - Sanatçı ve araştırmacı Abderraouf Ouertani, "Ya la qawmi dhayaouni" ("Beni şaşırtan bu insanlar kim?") başlıklı bir muvaşâ (şarkılı şiir biçimi) seçti.
