Good evening. Kentucky. I'm Aaron Jolly. That steady drumming on your roof overnight? That was just the opening act. We’ve already picked up a tenth of an inch. And more is on the way. A Flood Watch remains in effect until 1 P.M. For counties along the Ohio River, so keep a close eye on those water levels. Add in some patchy dense fog this morning. And you'll want to take it slow on the roads. In the next 24 hours. Here's the setup driving our weather. A warm front draped right across the state is firing up rounds of showers and thunderstorms. North Central Kentucky sees the heaviest action through mid-morning. We're looking at an 80 percent chance of storms peaking right around 7 A.M. Despite the rain, highs climb to a mild 70 degrees. Central Kentucky gets in on the act too. Thunderstorms are likely through late morning, followed by a brief lull this afternoon. You'll top out near 70 degrees. Down in South Central Kentucky, you're sitting in the warmest pocket. Highs surge to 77 degrees with storms mainly early. Eastern Kentucky reaches 74 degrees with just a chance of showers. Tonight, the rain machine keeps running. Lows hold in the upper 50s to low 60s as more thunderstorms roll through overnight into Thursday. Thursday brings another round with highs again hitting 70 to 77 degrees. Then Friday? We could make a run at record territory. Highs top out near 80 degrees. That's running about 46 degrees above normal for early March. Saturday delivers the next big system with widespread showers and storms, some strong to severe. Then we cool down Sunday into the mid-60s. One quick note before you go — tonight's full moon rises at sunset. It's worth a look if the clouds break.
