 Good evening. Tennessee. I'm Aaron Jolly. Seventy-eight degrees right now under clear skies. Let that sink in. We're talking early March. And it feels like mid-April. That's roughly 53 degrees above where we should be. Records could fall before this warm spell is done. In the next 24 hours. West Tennessee is basking in the warmth today. Jackson hits 80 degrees under partly sunny skies. A few thunderstorms could rumble through between 6 P.M. and 10 P.M. Tonight — nothing severe, but keep an umbrella handy. Lows only drop to 65 degrees. Middle Tennessee sits at 78 degrees this afternoon. South winds gust to 20 miles an hour, so you'll feel that warm breeze. Tonight brings increasing clouds with a low of 64. Thursday morning, a few showers roll through after 9 A.M. — just a slight chance, nothing too worrisome. East Tennessee is slightly cooler but still exceptional. Knoxville and Chattanooga reach 75 to 79 degrees today. Tonight stays quiet with a low around 53. Perfect evening to catch that full moon rising. Looking ahead. Friday could be the warmest day yet. Middle Tennessee flirts with 83 degrees. Then the pattern shifts.
