À propos de ce contenu audio

Good morning. Puerto Rico. I'm Aaron Jolly. Step outside right now and you'll feel 74 degrees with a gentle breeze. but here's the thing. That breeze is about to get bossy. A massive high pressure system sitting over the central Atlantic is cranking up the pressure gradient across our region. Translation? Wind is the story all week long. In the next 24 hours. Scattered showers are already organizing to the east. and they're heading our way. Metro San Juan, rain rolls in around 7 A.M. and sticks around through late morning. Fifty-fifty chance means toss that umbrella in the car for the commute. You'll hit 82 degrees with east winds gusting to 25 miles an hour. Tonight, showers come and go with a low around 75. Down south to Ponce and the southern coast, you're the hot spot today. Climbing to 88 degrees. Showers fire up mid-morning and linger through the afternoon. Tonight clears out nicely, dropping to 73. Out west. Mayaguez and the western coast get a later start. Rain holds off until after noon, peaking around 3 P.M. Highs reach 85 degrees. Tonight brings clearing skies and a cooler 69 degrees. The week ahead? That breezy pattern isn't going anywhere. Winds strengthen midweek as another high builds in. Expect passing showers almost daily — mornings along windward areas, afternoons inland. Highs stay low to mid-80s, lows in the low 70s. By the weekend, rip current risk climbs along north and east-facing beaches. One quick note. We're gaining over a minute of daylight today. Sunrise at 6:44, sunset at 6:32. Spring equinox is just eighteen days out. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow.
