On today’s Hoops Talk w/Allen Sliwa, Allen discussed the Lakers being on a 50-win pace halfway through the season after a win over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday night. Allen made the point that Deandre Ayton is the most influential piece on the Lakers team. He also asked the question to listeners, “Does Luka shoot too much?” As we get closer to the Trade Deadline on Feb. 5th Allen talked about some of the rumors circling around the Lakers and their plans for the deadline. He touched on a report about the Jazz being interested in Austin Reaves and what Austin’s value could be around the league. He also recapped the weekend around the NBA as Kawhi Leonard was sent home from the Clippers current road trip, Ja Morant professed his loyalty to the Grizzlies & what teams could be holding assets for Giannis Antetokounmpo.
