I want you to know Fanny because I truly believe the world would be a better place if everyone had a Fanny on their team. I owe a huge amount of my career, my confidence, my adventures and my joy to Fanny. She has, without a doubt shaped so much of my adult life and the person I am today.

Fanny is among the most creative, intelligent, and talented human beings I know. She always sees the big picture and gives the best, most well-rounded advice that always has my well-being at the forefront. It is a complete honour to know Fanny, and I count myself incredibly lucky to be her friend.

I want you to know Leah because she is one of the best storytellers I know, complete with different voices and impressions. She is the most fantastic mom to sweet little Felix, is a supremely talented cook and baker and provides much-needed reassurance when I try to cook or bake.

Leah welcomed me into her home, family and life at such a pivotal time for me, and I will always be grateful for the short but impactful time we lived together. She is an incredible listener, cheerleader and confidant and takes such amazing care of anyone and everyone she comes into contact with.

I want you to know Marikla because she is incredibly talented and kind. A graphic designer and a fantastic photographer, Marikla creates things of beauty and has a unique talent for bringing out the beauty in others. She also tells a mean ghost story, and I especially appreciate it when she warns me about when the scary parts are coming up. She is empathetic and encouraging and has embraced every one of my anxiety-riddled DMs, whether about a pilates class or walking Churro, with open arms and an open mind. I'm delighted each time I discover another thing Marikla and I have in common, and I'm thrilled to give you all the opportunity to get to know this wonderful human.

I want you to know Ashley because ours is one of my longest friendships. Since sixth grade, we've seen each other through hard times, fun times and even a school supplies stealing spree and some food fights. We've grown apart and come back together, and now, no matter how much time has passed when we're laughing or reminiscing, it still feels like we're eleven years old. Ashley is an amazing crafter and DIYer. Anything she has ever put her mind to, she has gone after and accomplished. She's incredibly honest, reflective and hard-working, and I'm often equal parts surprised and delighted to see what she does next.

I want you to know Taryn because it's honestly just really weird for me when people in my life don't know Taryn. She is my dear friend first, my cousin second, and my earliest memory is the day she was born. She is one of the funniest people I know, and we have the same laugh, which only makes us laugh harder once we really get going. She has the best and highest confidence level and inspires me to think higher of myself and give myself more credit. She is incredibly passionate and giving and makes me a better person. She is my forever sounding board, my confidant, my playlist co-creator and my Christmas enthusiast partner, and the world would be a better place if everyone knew Taryn.

I want you to know Shayla because she is just truly one of the best friends a gal can have. She checks in on me constantly, is always there to validate my feelings and reminds me that I can do hard things. She exudes kindness on a whole other level, and I like to say that Shayla is my little gift from the universe. After being on the periphery of each other's lives through high school and university, Shayla walked into my new workplace about three months after me, which was a total surprise to both of us. I think it's fair to say that we both got the message the universe was sending us, and we knew we were meant to be dear friends from that moment onwards.

She is there to celebrate every one of my wins, comfort the losses and entertain all the moments of boredom or restlessness in between, and I'm so grateful for her presence in my life.

I want you to know Alex because she is one of the most delightfully funny people I know. With her quick wit and welcoming energy, we're all convinced that Alex is also living a secret life as an undercover tik-tok star or stand up comedian. She also holds the title in our group of friends of the best creative director, and she'll do whatever it takes to get the best shot and brings us the friendship content of our dreams. She also, without a doubt, supplies the best snacks no matter the activity.

I want you to know Katie because she has gifted me with one of my most consistent friendships for the last ten plus years. Through school, jobs, moves and pet adoptions, Katie has been at my side. She is never afraid to call me on my bullshit, but she also often reminds me when I'm being too hard on myself. Her intelligence is always impressive, sometimes intimidating but never makes me feel less-than, in fact she's basically my in real life fact checker on all topics and I love our hours long tangents and vent sessions. I would do anything for Katie and I know she would do the same for me. I know this because I have often put her in this exact position like right now, in making her come on the podcast.
