Everybody knows the feeling of hearing footsteps at night, or maybe seeing some lights flickering, or portals that transport you to the early 1990s-- wait, what? The Paranormal Activity series starts firmly planted on a tripod but quickly eschews that for secret covens and time travelling camcorders. Yep.
