The biggest shifts we should pursue is our identity rather than the consumptions of our activities. As a culture we have outsourced and compromised our identity in exchange for social acceptance and temporary success rather than living authentically within our own skin.
Have you noticed that we don’t mention much about the value invested in our identities but rather ramp up sharing the descriptions of activities? Imagine asking someone nearby, “How are you being?” Rather than the common phrase. “How are you doing?” The responses would be vague and some may even struggle to answer.
In today’s episode I want to lean into our truest identity and the real purpose of our activity. We have been fundamentally misinformed and mislabeled that our identity is our experiences, values, beliefs, and memories that continuously create our self-image. And in this episode of Just Shift It, I will crush this myth.
