    Episode: Is It Worth It?

This episode is a real conversation — not with anyone else, but with myself.

I found myself sitting with a few questions that honestly challenged me. If I could snap my fingers and see how everything plays out… would I? If I could skip the confusion, the waiting, the stretching, the discomfort… would I choose the easy road? Or would I still choose the process?

Because the process is where the growth is.

But it’s also where the doubt lives.

    The patience.

    The uncertainty.

    The refining.

In this episode, I wrestle with what it really means to trust the journey when you don’t have guarantees. Is it worth staying committed when you can’t see the outcome? Is it worth the long road if you don’t know how it ends? And who do you become if you skip the becoming?

This one is reflective. Honest. A little uncomfortable. But necessary.

If you’ve ever questioned whether the hard path is really worth it… this conversation is for you.

When Leaving Is the Loving Choice

In this episode, I’m talking about something that isn’t easy to admit out loud — when leaving is actually the most loving thing you can do.

I dive into my most recent relationship, how I knew it was time to walk away, and what that decision looked like internally before it ever showed up externally. I share my thoughts in real time — the processing, the doubts, the clarity, and all the realizations that came after I left.

Because sometimes the biggest shift isn’t just ending the relationship… it’s what you learn about yourself in the process.

If you’ve ever wrestled with whether to stay or go… if you’ve ever loved someone and still knew it wasn’t right anymore… this conversation is for you.

    Episode 5: Healing in Progress

This episode was a little different.

I went into this conversation wanting to talk about self-love and forgiveness… and somewhere along the way, I found myself healing out loud. There were moments that were real, vulnerable, and unplanned — and I decided to let them stay.

Healing isn’t always neat. Sometimes it happens in real time, in front of people, while you’re still finding the words. This episode is about giving yourself grace, forgiving yourself for what you didn’t know before, and allowing growth without shame.

I hope the wait was worth it.

  • Let Them See You
    Jan 26 2026

Episode 4: Let Them See You

This episode is a wrap-up — not just of the month, but of the mindset we’ve been sitting in together. Our January theme, Daring to Begin, wasn’t about perfection or confidence. It was about movement. About choosing to start even when fear, doubt, and discomfort try to keep us quiet.

In this conversation, we’re talking about one of the biggest reasons people hesitate to go after what they want: the fear of judgment and being perceived. The fear of what people might say. The fear of being misunderstood. The fear of getting it wrong in public.

But here’s the truth — people are going to talk whether you do it or you don’t. Whether you try or stay still. Whether you win, pivot, or pause. So the question becomes: why let the fear of being seen stop you from becoming who you’re meant to be?

This episode is about releasing the weight of other people’s opinions and remembering that your life isn’t a performance for approval. It’s about learning how to move forward even when you feel exposed. Even when your voice shakes. Even when you’re not sure how it will land.

As we close out this month, consider this your reminder that daring to begin doesn’t mean you won’t be judged — it means you decided that your growth matters more than staying small.

  • Something shifted…
    Jan 26 2026

    Episode 3: Something shifted…

In this episode, we’re talking about the importance of honoring your past self without letting your past keep you from the blessings of your present. Growth doesn’t require erasing who you were — it asks you to acknowledge the lessons, release what no longer fits, and step boldly into the next chapter, season, or phase of your life.

This conversation is about recognizing how far you’ve come, giving grace to the version of you who survived what you didn’t yet have the tools for, and allowing yourself to grow without guilt. Outgrowing people, patterns, and perspectives can feel uncomfortable, but it’s often the clearest sign that growth is happening.

As we continue our Glow Up Goals:

    • Daily: Practice the affirmation — I am enough.
    • Weekly: Journal and reflect on this question: What do I need to outgrow or let go of in order to continue growing?
    • Monthly: Stay committed to our ongoing practice of showing up intentionally and consistently for ourselves.

Listener Letters are open. If you’d like to share your story, an experience you’re navigating, or if you’re looking for advice, email lettersalongtheway@gmail.com.

In honor of Black History Month in February, I’m also inviting you to send stories about Black women who have inspired you — women who deserve their flowers. Please email herpathherpace@gmail.com with the subject line: Give Her Flowers.

  • So…I just started
    Jan 13 2026

In this episode, we’re talking honestly about something that quietly holds so many of us back: waiting until we feel “ready.” Waiting until we’re more confident, more prepared, more certain, or until the timing feels perfect. The truth is, that moment rarely comes.

Not feeling ready can overshadow our growth and keep us stagnant. It convinces us that standing still is safer than moving forward, even when we know deep down we’re meant for more. Over time, waiting turns into avoidance, and avoidance turns into delayed dreams and missed opportunities.

This episode is about choosing movement anyway.

We’re breaking down the difference between being unprepared and being afraid. Talking about how fear often disguises itself as logic, and how many of us already have what we need to begin but are waiting for permission or perfect conditions that don’t exist. Readiness isn’t something you arrive at first. It’s something you build through action.

This conversation isn’t about rushing or forcing yourself forward. It’s about taking aligned steps even when things feel uncomfortable. It’s about understanding that clarity often comes after you start moving, not before.

As part of our monthly theme, “Daring to Begin,” this episode is a reminder that starting imperfectly is still starting. You don’t need the full plan. You don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need the willingness to take the next step in front of you.

If you’ve been sitting on an idea, a dream, or a decision you keep postponing, this episode is for you. If you’ve been telling yourself “I’ll start when…,” consider this your invitation to begin now.

    Community Update:
