In clinics across the Tanami Desert, situated in some of Australia’s most remote communities, Yapa could be sitting all day waiting to see a doctor or nurse, and at times be turned away.
In this episode we talk to Pintubi, Anmatjere and Warlpiri people about their community clinics, the need for more local staff, long distances to travel for primary health care and to see specialists and the best ways to improve health care for our remote communities.
We've had the opportunity to speak with several members of these communities, and here are their insights.
