Sunday 22nd February – Dan Roach preaches from Genesis 29: 1 - 30. This sermon explores Jacob’s prayerless decision to marry Rachel and the resulting years of hardship under Laban. This "bend in the road" shows how God uses messy circumstances to humble believers, refining them even when His presence feels completely hidden.

Sunday 15th February - Huw Hadden preaches from Genesis 28. This sermon explores Jacob’s encounter with God at Bethel, showing how unmerited grace finds us at our lowest points. Jacob saw a ladder but the Christian life under grace is more like an escalator – whilst our progress fluctuates, we are still carried along and upwards by Jesus, the true stairway to heaven.

Sunday 8th February – Lydia Pavey preaches from Genesis 27:1-46. This sermon explores Jacob’s deceitful theft of Esau’s blessing, revealing a broken, manipulative family. Remarkably, God’s mercy prevails through them. This points to Jesus, whose righteousness covers believers, providing them with God's truly incredible, unearned grace.

Sunday 1st February - Dan Roach preaches from Genesis 25:19-34. He introduces Jacob’s "messy" life to illustrate God’s unearned, transformative grace. Contrasting "scheming" Jacob with impulsive Esau, the sermon emphasizes that God’s powerful, freely given gift meets people in their brokenness and is received by simply turning to Him.

Sunday 26th January - Dan Roach explains that a flourishing church is a generous one, rooted deeply in Jesus’s sacrificial grace. Financial giving remains an ongoing, joyful opportunity for every single believer to support local ministry and global missions.

Sunday 16th January – Dave Rogers defines church leadership not as power, but as a God-given, servant-hearted means to release flourishing. Elders provide spiritual oversight while deacons manage the more practical aspects of church life. Together, they equip and encourage every single believer to grow mature in Jesus Christ.

Sunday 11th January – Huw Hadden preaches from Revelation 7. If the eternal future has a diverse church then a united diverse church in the present will both flourish and point to that glorious reality. Unity in difference glorifies God more than unity alone. This can be achieved through gospel hospitality and relationships rooted in Christ.
