Do you know that we are in a spiritual battle? Not a carnal fight, but a spiritual battle with forces in the unseen world. As believers, the word declares that this battle is taking place and we need to be vigilant, sober and aware of the attacks of the enemy and his devices. We need to spiritually equip ourselves with the spiritual tools to resist and stand firm against the attacks of the enemy. Many people are being led away from God through the spiritual guise of deception Well trusted people are misleading others by their lack of knowledge and understanding of the word and taking scriptures out of context to fit their own personal motives and viewpoints. We are living in the last days, and God is telling us not to be deceived by false prophets and doctrines of the enemy. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:14 that we hence for be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness whereby they lie in wait to deceive. Let’s be sober and vigilant walking in the spirit of discernment to shed light and truth on the spiritual guise of deception. If it is contrary to the word or distorts the truth of the word in any way we choose the pure word of Christ.

Did you know that there is a constant battle in us over our soul (mind, will and emotions). The Bible talks about how there is a constant battle between the flesh and Spirit to have complete dominance over our soul. The flesh is that nature in us that is in complete rebellion against God and the Spirit was given to all believers after the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ to lead us into all truths to help us live a lifestyle that is submitted and surrendered to God. The scriptures say that we must worship God in Spirit and truth and the Holy Spirit was sent to lead us into all truths. We as believers must crucify the flesh and its lust and desires daily and walk in the spirit. So, we as believers need to know what are things that hinder us from walking in the Spirit and being completely submitted to God.

This episode focuses on what it means to live a life in the Spirit. How do we know when we are walking in the Spirit and how does the Spirit help us in our walk with God? As believers, a lot of us our living a lifestyle that is submitted to our flesh and we are unaware of this, and God is saying that he desires for us to walk and be led by the Spirit of God. So that we can walk in complete victory. God is calling us into intimacy with him. The only way we can be intimate and aligned with the heart of God is if we are walking in the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the mark that we bear inside of us that shows that we belong to Christ Jesus. The Spirit is there to guide us into all truths to help us live a lifestyle of purity and in direct connection with God. So, ask yourself today am I living a life that is led by the Spirit or am I living a life that is submitted and ruled by my fleshy/carnal. nature.

As we walk with God we need to be aware that the words that come out of our mouths are life or death. Our words either align with the kingdom of God or the Kingdom of Darkness. What you speak can impact you in a positive way or a negative way. As Christians we need to guard, use self-discipline and watch what comes out of our mouths when we are speaking to others or to our selves. I don’t want my words to hinder what God has for me. I want my words to align with what God thinks of me and who God says I am. The very words that come out of my mouth reflects a heart that is pure or corrupt before the eyes of God. We have to get to a place that we have the mindset of But Even If…. God. That means that if God does deliver me from a situation he is still good, sovereign and reigns on the throne but Even If he does not he is still God. We have to have the same perspective of God’s ability to deliver inspirte of our situation. His Lordship does not change based on our situation. God does things after the counsel of his own will.
