  • EP4 - GALS: College Football Playoff OMG Moments
    Jan 8 2025

Happy New Year to all of our lovely listeners! We hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing holiday break, filled with delicious food, football watching, catching up on hot goss, and more. In this episode we will recap some of the playoff highlights of College Football.

    00:00 - Happy New Year!

01:29 - College Football Playoffs Overview

04:23 - Quarterfinal Bowl Game Highlights

A side note here because Leigh was apparently hallucinating, but overtimes happen only when the two teams are tied at the end of the game. We also verified that in College Football, the rules are the following:

Unlike in the NFL, each team gets one possession from the opponent's 25-yard line to begin overtime. If either team outscores the other during the first overtime period, that team wins the game. If it remains tied at the end of the first overtime, another overtime period is played with each team again starting from the 25-yard line. If the game is still tied after two overtime periods, both teams alternate 2-point conversion attempts to determine a winner.
