Good morning. Georgia. I'm Aaron Jolly. Spring fever just showed up three weeks early. We're sitting at 58 degrees right now. And by this afternoon, the entire state climbs into the upper 70s to low 80s. That's 55 degrees warmer than early March should feel. In the next 24 hours. Quick heads-up for coastal Georgia. Dense fog is wrapping the southeast this morning. Visibility drops to a quarter mile or less until around 9 A.M. Give yourself extra time if you're heading out early. Metro Atlanta hits 79 degrees today under mostly sunny skies. Tonight's low holds at a mild 60. Eastern Georgia climbs even higher, reaching 81 with just a touch of morning fog between 7 and 8 A.M. The coast peaks at 77 after the fog lifts by mid-morning. There's also a Flood Warning for the Ogeechee River near Midville. Minor flooding is occurring in Burke. Emanuel. And Jenkins counties. That should recede by this evening. Tonight brings a full moon. Perfect timing for a mild evening under clearing skies. Friday kicks off a pattern shift. Temperatures keep climbing, but so do rain chances. Expect highs in the low 80s with scattered thunderstorms developing after 1 P.M. The weekend turns unsettled. Saturday and Sunday bring scattered showers and storms, mainly during the afternoon hours. Highs stay in the upper 70s to low 80s. Monday continues that theme before we dry out slightly by Tuesday. Spring equinox is just two weeks away. Feels like Georgia got an early start. If you're enjoying these daily updates, a quick rating really helps us out.
