D&D 5e: “Sniff Around” Part 2 (ONE SHOT)

Brad takes the helm with Justin, Sam P and Ash to introduce three brand-new G.I.A. recruits in this two-part one-shot set in the dockside town of Gallowmere.

Strange symbols begin appearing around the harbour. Whispers spread of occult dealings in shadowy warehouses. And before long, our debut adventurers find themselves tangled in the suspiciously incompetent plans of a gang of thugs dabbling in forces they absolutely do not understand.

Auorie the Goliath fails to lift a barrel. Morgren investigates some mysterious white powder by having a sniff. And Brother Armageddon contributes heroically… by cleaning a floor.

It’s smugglers, symbols, and spectacularly poor choices as the newest members of the Guild prove that ineptitude truly knows no experience level.

Deadlands: The Devil’s Due, Ep4 “The Blood Drive Begins”

The cattle are restless. The tension is worse.

Red steps into the dust to face Phelps in the most sacred ritual of the frontier — a duel. Guns poised. Eyes locked. One heartbeat too many before the draw.

Elsewhere, Ruby discovers that briar patches are not, in fact, soft. Philippe channels his strange magic to patch up the posse (and himself, naturally). And Harry graciously, humbly, and completely without exaggeration takes full credit for driving off the Bayou Vermillion gunmen.

    But the work doesn’t stop.

The cattle drive finally heads north — and the plains answer with violence. Lightning tears across the sky, chaos erupts, and one unfortunate steer meets a truly explosive end. As the smoke clears, a lone figure watches from the hilltops.

    The Blood Drive has begun.

And something is already hunting them.

Deadlands: The Devil’s Due, Ep3 “Fork Me!”

Life on the Lazy S shows no signs of slowing down as the posse juggle ranch work, strange visitors, and their first taste of real danger.

Red helps Hank track down his missing horse — only to discover it’s very drunk. Phillipe finally achieves a spiritual (and deeply unsettling) bond with Devil Eyes, while Harry walks Amos through the miracles… and horrors… of cow birth. Ruby, meanwhile, expresses her romantic desire for a good fork.

Things turn deadly when the posse face their first combat encounter — a terrifying swarm of spiders. Steers are rescued, nerves are tested, and the ranch receives an unwelcome visit from goons linked to Bayou Vermillion. Just when things couldn’t get stranger, a mysterious figure named To’Sarre makes his presence known.

Naturally, the day ends with a spot of shopping.

The Weird West is opening up fast — and Sutter’s Flats is anything but quiet.

Deadlands: The Devil’s Due, Ep2 “Broncos, Booze, and Bowels”

Justin returns as Marshal, leading Jo, Sam, Mark, and Ross deeper into the realities of ranching life in the Weird West.

The posse roll up their sleeves and get stuck into honest work — breaking broncos, hauling supplies, and discovering just how unforgiving life on the range can be. Ross quickly learns that shooting while blind is even harder than advertised. Jo suffers the wrath of an ill-tempered horse. Sam bonds with a grizzled old-timer over shared whiskey and hard truths.

Meanwhile, Mark puts his man servant to good use by dealing with a truly unspeakable ranch problem… involving one very sick cow.

It’s sweat, swearing, and stomach-churning labour as the posse find out that ranching might be more dangerous than gunfights.

    Deadlands: The Devil’s Due, Ep1 “Sutter’s Flats”

The G.I.A. saddle up for the start of a long-awaited Deadlands campaign as Justin steps into the Marshal’s boots, guiding Ross, Jo, Sam and Mark through the dusty, dangerous world of the Weird West.

The posse roll into the humble town of Sutter’s Flats, where they meet a mysterious priest, discuss facial hair and sign up for a cattle drive with the Lazy S, and immediately discover that ranching life is harder than it looks.

    Mark somehow acquires a manservant.

Sam befriends the oldest man in the territory.

    Jo enthusiastically slaughters cattle.

Ross, being blind, must literally feel his way through frontier living.

It’s cattle, chaos, and questionable choices — all in a day’s work for the Guild of Inept Adventurers.

    D&D 5e: “F@%k The G.I.A.” Part 3 (ONE SHOT)

Brad takes the GM’s chair and leads Sam P, Justin, Dan, and first-time victim Mike into the depths of a cultist lair using Praise the Fallen by Graphite Prime.

    The thrilling conclusion.

With Mike and Sam P on the brink of death and the cult’s plans moments from completion, the truth finally comes out — Dan is revealed as a traitor. Trust shatters, blades are drawn, and the party is forced to decide who they can really rely on… which, unfortunately, means putting their faith in Justin.

As a giant snake blocks their escape and a well-timed stink bomb poisons the air, Justin recalls a vision of the future and turns it into an all-or-nothing gamble. Sacrifices are made. A high priestess takes her stand. A stone statue begins to stir.

Backstabbing, chaos, and absolute carnage erupt as everything comes crashing down in a brutal, unforgettable finale.

Will anyone make it out alive?

Brad takes the GM’s chair and leads Sam P, Justin, Dan, and first-time victim Mike into the depths of a cultist lair using Praise the Fallen by Graphite Prime.

Part two wastes no time getting violent.

The gang crash a ritual mid-chant, interrupt a very annoyed priest, and immediately solve several problems with extreme prejudice. Blades are looted, magic longswords are acquired, prisoners are freed, and yes — they also find a virgin, which is never a reassuring discovery in a cultist lair.

Steel flies, armour gets tested, and subtlety is once again abandoned as they push deeper and finally uncover the sacrificial chamber.
