      That morning, as I was feeling nearly relaxed, a mid-sized black truck pulled up beside me on the right, trying to overtake me despite my position in the right lane. The sight of it made me instinctively press the gas pedal. As the truck increased speed, so did I. I hadn’t gotten into a road conflict with anyone in ages; I thought I was too calm, mature, and seasoned for that. Yet at that moment, something in me urged me to defend my right. The truck driver was clearly pushing it, and I found it unacceptable.
