    Enrobed in virgin flesh
    he forms and fills
    until,
    wrapped in tissue,
    this precious gift,
    whose whisper issued light,
    is borne down
    from hidden place.

    He crowns,
    and,
    still umbilically bound,
    is violently pushed out
onto a patch of borrowed floor.

    A moment's silence
    then
    he, with knit together lungs,
    at last draws breath
    from fetid air
and calls once more to life.

He obtained an MFA in Art Society and Publics in 2017. Much of my art explores processes by which a thought, idea, image or space is made visible between artist and audience. Within all that there is also a consideration of the nature of words, objects and images to affect knowledge, interpretation, understanding and beliefs.
