  • E2: Life Before "New York City" w/ Dr. Shamma Boyarin
    May 10 2026

We give some backstory to Emma's childhood in Europe (Tsarist Russia-occupied Lithuania, Popelan, St. Petersburg, Königsberg) and her later experience as an immigrant in the “United States” ("Rochester" (Seneca land) and "New Haven" (Quinnipiac land) before her "spiritual birth" leading her into "New York City" (Lenapehoking).)

  • E1 - The Birth of the Revolutionary "Red Emma" [RECUT]
    Apr 28 2026

With respect to Emma's narrative framing in Living my Life, we follow Emma's first few days in "New York City." (Lenapehoking).

Note: RECUT: Emma becoming Most’s disciple did not happen in one day, rather starting a week after her arrival. Her relationship with Sasha really begins also the following day - not the first night. The audio has since been replaced (and better cleaned up!)
