À propos de ce contenu audio

This is a podcast in which we try to tell our stories as Navy Nukes. We try to be as entertaining as possible as we contribute to the future of our community, and we try to interject as much humor as we can into our sea stories. This Podcast is two Navy Nuke Chiefs and guests. We would love to hear from you. E-mail us your stories at FactFindingPodcast@gmail.com and we'll read them over the air (with names changed)If you are at NNPTC or NPTU as students, stop in and hear what the fleet is like. If you're a salty nuke, come in and listen for a bit, you may just like it.© 2023 Fact Finding: A Navy Nuke Experience

In this episode we talk about staying motivated with my first LPO, and he has a Youtube channel dedicated to the topic. Don't let that make you think that he's completely straight laced, because he specifically asked us to record drunk. Being dedicated to our craft, of course we obliged him.

Social  Media is quickly becoming a way for Sailors and DoD personnel to express themselves in a way that may or may not be ok with big Navy. Protect yourselves and enjoy that first amendment right nukes.

No, we weren't shut down again. We're still here, and we will be posting 2 episodes a week for the foreseeable future to play catchup. We have about 8 episodes recorded that need editing and uploading, so content is coming back in a big , tremendous way. Some say the most tremendous.

With the recent fall of Afghanistan, I thought it was important to talk about how it could've gotten to this point.

This isn't like a normal episode. It's not as funny, and it's a bit more raw, but I felt like it  was important to talk about how we've  gotten to this point and what it means for us as both Nukes and Americans.

When it comes time to rotate, there are few words more dreaded than "Needs of the Navy"

For some, it may have meant a tour at prototype or at a place far away from home. For me personally, it worked out pretty well. Today, we'll discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly of these type of orders. As usual, we also get really sidetracked.

When you listen, you may hear some breathing going on. Unfortunately with the way we record, the video file gets exported into one audio file, so there isn't much I can do about it unfortunately, but it is something I will try to remedy moving forward by recording separate audio files. Please bear with me as I learn how to do this whole podcasting thing.

I hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed recording it.
