      Jan 27 2026

Part 3 of 3 of Rev. Kennon's sermon series "Beautiful Ruins: Where Walls Fall & Promise Rises" taken from Romans 8:38-39 and Ephesians 3:16-19.

      ROMANS 8:38-39, NRSV

38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

      EPHESIANS 3:16-19, NRSV

16 I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit 17 and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love.

18 I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

    • Part 2 Beautiful Ruins Sermon Series w/ Rev. Kennon Pickett
      Jan 22 2026

Part 2 of 3 of Rev. Kennon's sermon series "Beautiful Ruins: Where Walls Fall & Promise Rises" taken from Psalm 34:18–20 and 2 Corinthians 12:7–10.

Psalm 34:18–20 (NSRV)The LORD is near to the brokenhearted, and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD rescues them from them all.He keeps all their bones;not one of them will be broken.

2 Corinthians 12:7–10 (NSRV)Even considering the exceptional character of the revelations, therefore, to keep me from being too elated, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me, to keep me from being too elated.Three times I appealed to the Lord about this, that it would leave me,but he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.” So, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.Therefore I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities for the sake of Christ; for whenever I am weak, then I am strong.
