Every man carries something. The question is whether you're carrying what God gave you to carry — or something you were never meant to hold.

Every Day Carry is a daily devotional podcast for men who are done settling for less than who God actually called them to be. Five days a week, host Brian Crum opens Scripture in its real context — no feel-good reinterpretation, no fluff — and hands you one clear charge to carry into your day. Each week follows a single theme, from leading your household to guarding your mind to standing firm under pressure, so the Word builds on itself instead of scattering.

This isn't a show for men who want to feel better about staying the same. It's for husbands, fathers, workers, and leaders who want real brotherhood, real accountability, and a faith that shows up Monday through Friday — not just on Sunday.

Take up your cross daily, and follow Him. That's Luke 9:23. That's the charge. Let's carry it.

  • On Your Heart First: Discipleship Starts With Dad
    12 Oct 2026

Your kids are going to be shaped by somebody. God put you first in line.

Week 9 picks up right where Stand in the Gap left off: last week was about being the man who stands in the gap, and this week is about raising one. Brian walks through Deuteronomy 6:6-7, where Moses hands the job of discipleship to fathers, not priests, and puts it in the most ordinary moments of the day: sitting at home, walking along the road, lying down, and getting up. It starts with God's Word on your own heart first, because you can't hand down what you don't carry.

Today's charge: Tonight, read Deuteronomy 6:4-9 out loud at your table and tell your family one thing God has done for you this year. Then write down the three most ordinary moments you have with your kids each day.

  • Act Like Men: Courage Done in Love
    9 Oct 2026

"Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love."

Week 8 closes on the verse this whole ministry is built on. Brian shows how "act like men" connects back to God's command for Joshua to be strong and courageous, and why verse 14 is the point of the whole week: courage without love becomes the very thing we've been grieving. Biblical manhood is strength spent protecting people, never taking from them. It's also a call to the man who once stood silent in a room: don't bury it. And it sets up next week, because the charge is to be a godly man of integrity, and to raise one.

Today's charge: Tell a brother which room you'll speak up in, and ask him to hold you to it. Make right anything you stayed silent on. Then ask your son, or a young man you mentor: "If you were in a room where a girl was being hurt, what would you do?"

  • Do Justice, Love Kindness: When the Internet Becomes a Courtroom
    8 Oct 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

When a story like this breaks, the internet turns into a courtroom with no rules.

Micah 6:8 gives a better way: do justice, love kindness, walk humbly with your God. Brian explains why biblical justice requires truth first, why slow to judge cuts both ways (don't name the accused, and don't write off the woman whose story got complicated), and why being slow to judge is not the same as not caring. If the allegations are proven, consequences should be severe. And Brian turns it on himself too: check me, I'm not a pastor, open the book.

Today's charge: Pray out loud for everyone involved on every side, then guard your mouth. No names, no speculation, and take down anything you've posted that you can't back up.

If you or someone you love has been affected by sexual assault, call the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 800-656-4673.
