À propos de ce contenu audio

Industrial maintenance teams are in a constant battle with corrosive environments and abrasive services.

They're fighting never-ending challenges:
→ damaged pumps: 1‑hour repair extended service life 19x
→ severely eroded chutes: avoided full rebuild; repair has handled 10,000,000+ tons of coal (and counting)
→ heavily worn hoppers: took previous repair runtimes from 3 days to 17 weeks (38x extension)

I share my field notes to help you and your team win against corrosion and erosion.

All of this information... fo' free. I hope it serves you well.

Not sure if I'm worth listening to? I agree, blind trust isn't a good thing... especially on the internet.

At 22, I completed my degree in Chemical Engineering.

Since, I’ve spent nearly a decade studying, modifying, and implementing polymeric lining and composite technologies for the industrial sectors.

‘Polymeric’ is just a fancy word to make me sound smart… and it refers to resins like epoxies, urethanes, vinyl esters, etc.

I’ve been a part of and led projects from $500 to $3,000,000; from nitric acid lines to material transfer hoppers moving 3,000+ tons of material per hour, to containments full of sulfuric acid.

If you made it this far, I appreciate you. If you're ever in North Florida and want to meet-up, give me a shout.

Godspeed!

    • 008: Protecting Against Acid and Wear... at the Same Time
      Jan 5 2025

In this episode, we dive into solving two problems at the same time. Resisting acid attack while defending against harsh wear.

If you don’t know me, at 22, I completed my degree in Chemical Engineering.

Since, I’ve spent nearly a decade studying, modifying, and implementing polymeric lining and composite technologies for the industrial sectors.

‘Polymeric’ is just a fancy word to make me sound smart… and it refers to resins like epoxies, urethanes, and the like.

I’ve been a part of and led projects from $500 to $500,000 in material alone, and I make this content to help maintenance and engineering teams.

The goal is to help increase understanding of, and, properly select coatings, linings, and composites for industrial processes.
