À propos de ce contenu audio
In this episode, we are joined by Sam Brinton (they/them/theirs), a nuclear engineer and well-known advocate for LGBTQ+ youth. At the time of our interview, Sam served as the Vice President of Advocacy and Government Affairs at The Trevor Project, the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ young people. After surviving conversion therapy themself, Sam has helped secure protections against the dangerous and discredited practice of conversation therapy in more than half of the country. Join us as we learn about Sam’s journey of self-acceptance and inspiring career path, while discovering new ways to make our own campus a more welcoming and inclusive place.
