Every January 1st, the same thing happens.
Big goals and promises. About how this year will be different.
And by mid-January, most of it’s already in the bin.
In this episode, I’m talking honestly and openly about New Year’s resolutions. Why they can work, but also why they usually don’t, and why “new year, new me” is mostly BS.
I go into why motivation disappears so fast, how vague goals set you up to fail, and why missing one workout or having one "bad" week doesn’t mean you’ve blown the whole year.
It's a motivational speech, and it's definitely not a “just believe in yourself” chat.
It’s my honest opinion on New Year goals and how real change actually happens when you’ve got a job, a life, and limited patience for BS.
If you’ve ever started January fired up…then silently given up by February (I have) without telling anyone, this one’s for you buh.
