The SENSES Project provides HEOP and SSS students at Syracuse University the equipment, instruction, and space for self-exploration and expression through Hip Hop/Electronic Music/Beat-Making and Podcasting. SENSES stands for “Studying an Environment that Nurtures Self Exploration in Students.”

HEOP is the Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program, which is a New York State program that provides college access to qualified students. SSS or Student Support Services is a federally funded TRIO program that supports first generation college students. Both programs have income requirements and many students come from under-represented populations.
