Thank you for joining us on this week’s episode of the It Stands Written Podcast. Today’s conversations focuses on two main theological systems - covenant theology and dispensationalism. We seek to offer a clear understanding of both schools of thought and the ways each approach’s and organizes the stories of Scripture. As we explain each perspective we look at how they read the Bible as a whole, while differing on things such as the continuity of Covenants or the relationship between God and Israel. As we approach the text we are sure to remind everyone that we must not impose our system onto the text but let God’s faithful Word reveal and shape itself so that we may submit ourselves under it. Grab your theological glasses as you engage in a deep conversation that has thousands of years of history behind it.
