This week on Off the Stage with Sarah Hughes, I am joined by rising musical director and performer Jonathan Hawthorn, a recent graduate of the first batch of students from the new Wintec Theatre degree.
Jonathan has just come off the back of directing HMT's 2021 turned 2022 season of Mamma Mia! where I got to work alongside him as his music tech. We discuss the ins and outs of his journey so far in the musical theatre world, and he gives advice on how to break into the musical theatre world in Hamilton as both a performer and music director.
