The organization "Podcast Movement" hosted a convention a few days ago and issued an apology on Twitter because...Ben Shapiro decided to visit the event. Despite the fact that Shapiro's company, The Daily Wire, had paid for a stand and his visit was entirely amicable, the organization felt it necessary to apologize for the "harm done by his presence". I'll discuss why I think this is a disturbing attitude to have.

Trevor Noah of The Daily Show recently appeared on the Variety Award Circuit Podcast and spoke about cancel culture. He has since been praised for his comments which, while reasonable at face-value, seem to be at odds with Noah's own political and cultural views.
