First up—the Veterans Day Ceremony is this Friday, November 10, at 11 a.m. on the Quadrangle. Join President Fenves and Major General Burke W. Whitman to honor our veterans. Next—the Winship Scientific Symposium is happening Monday, November 10, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Emory Conference Center Hotel. This year's focus is on integrating artificial intelligence and big data in cancer research. Registration is complimentary and includes meals. And—the Winter Wonderland Crafts Workshop is on Monday, November 10, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the TechLab in Cox Hall. Create personalized wooden ornaments using the laser cutter. No prior experience needed, and all materials are provided. Over the weekend, our volleyball team celebrated senior night with a thrilling match against Rhodes College. The game was a showcase of skill and teamwork, highlighting the dedication of our senior players. Looking ahead, the women's and men's basketball teams have their home opener against Oglethorpe University on Tuesday, November 28, at 6 p.m. Mark your calendars and come support the Eagles! The "Striking Characters: Typewriters, Literary Worlds, and the Art of Tim Youd" exhibition is ongoing daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Woodruff Library. Explore the intersection of literature and visual art through this unique display. Also, the Emory Farmers Market is back on Tuesday, November 4, at 11 a.m. on McDonough Plaza. It's a great spot to grab fresh produce and local treats. This week in Atlanta, expect mostly sunny skies with pleasant temperatures through midweek. However, showers are likely on Sunday morning, so plan accordingly. Your move: Register for the Winship Scientific Symposium by Monday, November 10. It's a prime opportunity to engage with cutting-edge research and network with professionals in the field. That's your quick Campus Update. I'm Jenny—catch you next Monday morning.
