  • Elevatin’ Influencers and Promoters [Podcast]
    Sep 30 2025
Elevatin’ Influencers and Promoters Below is the transcript of the lastest Elevatin’ The GetRight Spot podcast called ‘Elevatin Influencers and Promoters’. Check it out everybody. Got me a little intro music. Well, this is a body ball out event coming to you with elevating the get right spot. It's been a minute so I'm checking in to let everybody know what the progress is on to get right spot.com. I've been working on soft side by plane. They're gonna come through every now and then. But as far as the website, I've been focusing on people who present themselves as influencers or promoters, basically people who have a specific agenda when they go online, when they go on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. They're trying to promote something, whether it be their podcast, local events, their music, someone else's music, someone else's podcast, whatever you have a purpose when you get online and you're trying to drum up some attention for something. I consider you a influencer. You might be promoting your business, your clothing line, whatever you're doing. I've been working on a special spot on the get right spot to assist and help you do what you're doing because I know these platforms, they fall a little bit short. As far as my estimation, I see what they, you know, what they, what they designed to do and what they actually accomplished for you. And I think there's a gap. And I believe opportunity is in the gap of what's available and what people really want to accomplish. So in looking at what people are trying to do, which I'm trying to do myself, I see that, you know, things could, you know, there's a need for a space, a spot, a place or whatever you want to call it for people who, you know, just want to get information out and connect as a network. Like many people, you know, most people are not working by their selves. They're co-promoting, they're co-presenting their co- they're doing things with other people, basically. And to help those people, I've created what they call this a custom post type on the website and it's called influencers and content creators. So on the get right spot, if you're a promoter, if you are an influencer, you can get a profile called an influencer content creator profile. And with that profile, you can present whatever you're doing online in one spot, while also connecting with other people that you work with. So if you're a DJ, you're working with a promoter, and you're working with a venue that's hosting an event, all of those experts can come together and each one of those entities, the event venue, the primary promoter, the headlining DJ, even music artists who might be at the event, everyone can use their profiles on the website to co-promote. So I've been adding a few people on my own that I've noticed, you know, putting in the work on mainly Facebook and Instagram and X and I'll take one of their events connected to a profile I created for them on the site and add whatever they are presenting to their profile. And as they present their profile on the site, they'll also be able to include whoever they are working with. So the promoter can connect on their profile with the DJ, the event spot, the music artists who might be performing, everyone can see each other on one profile. And on each profile, you know, as they share it, they can share the event and everything and who's involved. So it's a great way to network promote for each occasion. And along with this, when I put this podcast out, I'm going to share some examples of how it works. So stay tuned, I hope whoever comes by and check it out can get the grasp of it and give it a try for yourself. You know, you come by the side, you create a profile under that type and play with it, see what all it can do. If you tried and it's lacking in anything, just let me know. You can contact me at body by loud at gmail.com or vent. Then sit at the get right spot.com. Either one of those will do fine. And just let me know how it's working for you. And we can work together to make any kind of improvement you need. You're able to share your social profiles, you're streaming profiles, say you're on MixCloud, say you're on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, whatever you're on, you can present all that on the profile. So it's a great way to localize whatever you're doing and co-promote. So come by, check it out, the get right spot.com. And we'll get things cracking. We're going to figure it out. Appreciate everyone who's listening to this podcast. And I thank you for coming by the site. Have a nice day. Peace. And I'm out.

  • The Facebook Music Promo Experiment [Podcast]
    Jan 21 2025
How Well Can You do Music Promo on Facebook? The Music Promo Experiment From 00:00:00 to 00:00:18 What's up everybody? Or as I usually say, what it beats like. I am going to do a short podcast here about elevating, elevating with the get right spot and the love algorithm. From 00:00:18 to 00:01:19 Been doing some testing of some things as far as marketing and first and foremost I need to say this. I don't know shit about marketing like far as the technical aspect of it and doing it online and I think a lot of other people are the same way. They just don't know exactly what to do and how to do it and everyone wants to show you how to do it and ask you to pay them. But most of the time you can't see the results they say they are getting far as like what's the results for your ability to teach and do what you say you're going to teach that you're doing. So I'd be up front about it. I don't know. I don't know. https://www.thegetrightspot.com/music/the-return-original-mix-by-earl-w-green-thereal_earlwgreen/ From 00:01:19 to 00:01:36 I know what I want to happen and I can investigate the tools that are available as far as making it happen. My main thing is I want to blow something up. I want to blow my website up. From 00:01:36 to 00:02:42 I want traffic. I want involved traffic. I want people to do what they can do on the site. So with the get right spot marketing it is primarily finding people who want to do what it's offering. So the exposure to people is important. You got to bring traffic to your site to your music to your mix. So whatever you got going on to your event you want to bring traffic to at least the knowledge about you. I mean you want to bring traffic to you want to get people to know who you are and what you try to do. And that's what marketing pretty much be about. And with me I want to be as straightforward with it as I can be. Well anyway about a week or two ago I decided okay I'm going to do a test. From 00:02:42 to 00:02:59 I'm going to see if I can bring traffic to my site and at the same time help music artists with a song that I really like. So the song is called The Return and it's by Earl W. Green. From 00:02:59 to 00:04:50 He's a South African house music vocalist, singer, artist, producer I think. So I picked this song to be the one that I test my marketing one marketing technique. I decided to use Facebook to send traffic to this song which has a music showcase post on the get right spot. So this music showcase post features everything you want to know about this artist. This artist has a couple of songs that I like but the one right now is called The Return. It's a nice groovy house music song. So I use Facebook made a post that sends people to that post on the get right spot. I want to see if the traffic that went there responded. I want to see if the artist got some feedback from the people who went to the track and I want to see the what they call it different referrals like where all the traffic has come on. So I knew all the traffic was supposed to come from Facebook but what they did after that I was trying to see what happened in there. Now from what I could see Facebook presented the music to I think I targeted for people who like house music and R&B because it's From 00:04:50 to 00:06:36 a house music R&B type song. So it sent traffic to the to the post not as much as I thought you know I paid about 70 bucks and you know this me invested my money into seeing if I can get someone else some shine. So it's a test it's experiment and it's a test on Facebook now these these prevailing platforms as I call them they really don't want to send you away from their website. So you got to pay for them to come to you through them which you know that's the way it is. But what I found out is is the traffic that they easily give you is not necessarily useful traffic like you can be set on worldwide. Yeah you want the worldwide everyone to come and check out music. But it seems to me that if you're an American and then you seem American pop R&B hip hop the vast consumers are going to be people who use in streaming sites. I don't know what worldwide other countries with their percentage of streaming they do with Spotify and Apple music but I imagine it's probably lower than in America. But I noticed that the primary traffic I got was from Africa not From 00:06:36 to 00:07:44 Africans they prefer for as I know. Well get me wrong for as I know they prefer to download the music and listen to it they prefer that and I guess streaming is expensive you know especially if you deal with American prices and over there with the currency is such a wide range and far as value and whatnot. So I can understand why they don't want to use up a lot of their you know bandwidth and money trying to stream music download it and listen to it and share it that way. Anyway with Facebook sending people to the to the site it was a bunch of traffic that was not going to add streaming value to the artist mostly ...

  • Elevatin’ with The GetRight Spot & The Love Algorithm Podcast
    Dec 20 2024
Elevatin' with The GetRight Spot & The Love Algorithm Podcast and Discusion Forum From 00:00:00 to 00:00:14 What it be is like everybody, this is body by loud, yet coming to you once again, but this is a different podcast. From 00:00:14 to 00:00:33 This is the first of a new podcast series that I'm doing and it's called Elevating with the Get Right Spot and the Love Algorithm. From 00:00:33 to 00:00:49 Elevating is basically what it is, this podcast, this specific one is just an introduction to the podcast about what it's going to be about and the general topic of discussion. From 00:00:49 to 00:01:19 The general topic of discussion will be how to use the Get Right Spot, this whole discussion comes with a forum on the website, thegetrightspot.com so you can go to the forum and these podcasts will be featured in the forum along with points from the podcast as topics. From 00:01:19 to 00:01:42 Mainly I got to basically explain the usage of the website because a website is like anything else in the world, I mean it's a tool, the website's a tool, the internet is a tool. From 00:01:42 to 00:02:06 We make use of everything on the internet, that's what people make websites for and they're made for people to use and best way I can help describe what the website is is to basically explain how to use it. From 00:02:06 to 00:02:30 So instead of using it the way other people use the internet or websites, I have a specific idea about how to use it that will define it down the road as the tool that I want to have. From 00:02:30 to 00:02:44 So to start from the beginning, my goal is to make my little part of the internet works the way I want the whole internet to work. From 00:02:44 to 00:03:16 I want the internet to work for me by bringing me the content that I like. That's how I want the internet to work, I don't know how other people wanted the work but that's how I wanted the work so the idea behind the Get Right Spot is to make a website that does what I want it to do for me and that's bring the content that I like to me. From 00:03:16 to 00:04:01 So in doing that and thinking of the site, I'm thinking you know why wouldn't that be cool for other people to be able to do the same thing through a website, they can come to the Get Right Spot and get the content that they like, they like and they want to come to them and one of the best ways to do that, one of the ways I think you have to begin, you have to begin by showing the internet what you want, what you like and I think that's the primary thing behind it, you have to put out there, that's what this whole AI thing is about. From 00:04:01 to 00:04:52 AI is going to basically feed back what we tell it, it's going to tell us what we tell it in a form that you know it thinks we want to receive it but I think what better than AI in doing that is people doing that, like find the people that align with what you like and put them in a position where, I don't say put them in a position where create a mechanism where they automatically have input into your field of interest. From 00:04:52 to 00:06:47 For example, DJs that I have found of course through my music listening, I keep track of the ones that have the best mixes, so I got about seven go to DJs that are just mixed tape DJs, well not mixed tape DJs but they're mixed cloud or some form of, they make professional mixes for their followers and listeners and through these people I end up being introduced to more music that is in line with what I like, so right then and there I've shown people who I like for as DJs, put them on the site and through their mixes help build a following for them and the music that I like since they generate, you know they help me come in contact with, they curate for me and I curate through them, so I show them love by bringing this much attention to what they're doing in their craft, I then turn the music that I find through them into separate music showcases where I put the track up on the site and help people to discover the track through the site, so now you got two connected points in reference to me getting okay, the music that I like through the curators that I like and I'm helping From 00:06:47 to 00:08:27 share both of them to the rest of the world and I do this in order to be able to see if I can bring back what people come to the site and say here I think you will like this and I'm doing so they present either their music or someone else's music or their favorite DJ or someone else's favorite, whatever the connection is they basically are helping bring the content that I'm already you know interested in to me, so they say okay well he likes DJ such and such and maybe he'll like this DJ they're similar they like same types of music but they have different you know mixes so they bring this DJ to my attention, if I like them I brand them, part of the thing about the website you brand as you share who you like you're branding them as a part of your click of whatever that type of ...

  • What is ‘The Love Algorithm’ and Group Marketing the GetRight Spot way?
    Oct 14 2024
https://www.thegetrightspot.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Music-The-Love-Algorithm-and-Network-Marketing-the-GetRight-Spot-way.mp3 The Love Algorithm Harnesses the Power of Group Marketing The love algorithm is a network marketing strategy that focuses on harnessing the power of relationships. Relationships are the backbone of any network. It is the shared interest of the people in the network that gives the relationships their value. Everyone involved in the successful working of a business, the production of an event, or the making of a product, has a shared interest in that success. What is Group Marketing The GetRight Spot way? Since there are several individuals with shared interest in many projects, it makes since that everyone interested should share in the promotion and publicizing. The entire group of interested individuals should get credit for there roles in connection with the project, while sharing credit with the others involved. This group marketing helps everyone. For example: Every musician, instumentalist, producer, engineer, arranger, and singer involved in the creation of a song should help promote and market the song. Group marketing is an investment in the future of all involved. The next opportunity of any individual in the group could come through their connection to the others in the group promoting the song. This is group connection marketing. We at The GetRight Spot call this The Love Algorithm. Appreciation is an important aspect of The Love Algorithm Once a content creator puts their content out there for the world to consume, whether it's a podcast, YouTube video, new music track or blog post, it then becomes their duty to connect with whoever is involved in the content. We are living in times where there is plenty of content to promote. Content marketing requires content creators to connect with each other, fans and followers. This connection is essential to spreading the word about the created content. This makes a platform like The GetRight Spot essential because with make the connections easy and efficient. Social sharing is word-of-mouth in today’s content marketing scene. It's a must that we incorporate follow-backs and interactions with followers. Engagement with followers is a part of the process. The days of just putting out content and waiting for people to spread it without encouragement are over. The content creator is their own primary marketer. They must finesse engagement into more shares/word-of-mouth promotion. The content creators should be searching for their content on all social media platforms and saying thank you to those sharing their content. It's also an opportunity to see what people are saying about their content. Wherever the conversation is about your content is where the content creator should spend some of their time. The people most likely to spread the word really appreciate the content creator's attention. If this isn't feasible then someone should be hired to do these things. "Stans" will jump at the opportunity to represent the content creator online. The GetRight Spot provides a space for everyone to connect, engage, promote and share the content and its connected creators all in one spot. Love for Love means Appreciate the love to get more love People witnessing appreciation for actions, like content sharing, are more likely to do more sharing. This helps spread the content to more people. This in turn gives the content creators access to more people to show appreciation to, which keeps the cycle growing. Recognize those connected to and sharing your content in some kind of way, shoutouts, retweets, likes, whatever. The least a content creator can do is show appreciation by Like the post and engage on the poster(s) repost their shared content follow your most ardent supporters promoters/stans foster a group effort in promotion by connecting the people that participated in creating the content. if it’s a podcast or YouTube video give a shout-out or personal hello to participants and most active supporters Say ‘thank you’ to supporters (should have been at top)
