Since 1945, the US and British governments have bombarded their populations with propaganda to exaggerate threats. This includes the exaggerated threat of a communist invasion (from 1945-1989), Weapons of Mass Destruction (to justify invasions of Iraq and Syria), and terrorism (to justify the invasion of Afghanistan). Tonight's show will explain how small these threats were in reality, and look at how the media helped to exaggerate them.
