I'm a lucky guy because I get to talk to professionals in home service all the time. And my listeners often contact me to ask questions of these experts. I've asked Alex Dalton to join me here on the program today from Eco Garage Door service because we have a question for him today. Alex. How are you? I'm doing great and I'm glad to be here as always. Yeah, you're the expert here on the program today for garage doors. Here's a question that's come in my garage door is stuck in the up position. What's wrong could be a couple different things. Majority of the time it's the safety eyes on your opener, um their missile lines. Um They could even be bad and your door is not wanting to shut because it thinks that something's in the way. Um Other times it could also be something like a cable off the track to where your door is kind of a little bit crooked, stuck in the up position, um that there's a few different things that could be. And whenever that happens, I, I highly recommend checking out the safety eyes and if it's not that giving the professional a call. Just so things don't get messed up or worse than what they already are. Yeah. And just, you know, I'll tell everybody listening when it comes to garage doors, you need to be really careful. Um, they can be very dangerous. So if your garage door is stuck in the up position, if it's stuck in the down position, if you hear a large bang and it won't go up and down anymore. If the garage door opener just isn't doing its job. If the light is blinking, there could be a lot of things that maybe Alex and his team can troubleshoot over the phone but be careful because those springs are under high, high, high tension and it's extremely dangerous.
