Compared to the Warlordism of Musk or the Realpolitik of Thiel, Amodei looks like a savior.
He is the most dangerous man in the ecosystem.
In 2026, the Democracy he wants to arm is the Authoritarian Stack we have mapped. He wants to give Biosecurity Tools to Clark Minor to track your DNA, Cyber-Defense to Sixgen to hack your phone, and Economic Monitoring to Lutnick to freeze your wallet.
Amodei treats the four risks of AI (Economic, Autocracy, Destruction, Autonomy) as separate problems to be solved with separate policies.
He is suffering from a Cybernetic Blindspot.
If you map these risks onto the Political Economy of 2026, they do not remain separate. They collapse into a single Self-Reinforcing Feedback Loop that guarantees the Totalitarian outcome he claims to oppose.
